How To Highlight Your Wedding Dress With Jewelry

Guest Blog Post by Josey Stafford of Sixpence Events & Planning

In general weddings are the day that you’ll want to doll up. You’ll wear makeup, even if it isn’t your norm; you’ll wear a dress, even if you never do; you’re hair will be sprayed, lips will be glossed, you’ll probably even wear high heels. You’ll also want to accessorize.

Since you’re getting married you can go big and bold. You are the center of attention (+ fiance). So don’t be afraid to heed my advice and highlight your wedding dress with jewelry.

Pearl Drop Earrings + Pearl Wrap Necklace ($328 total). Excellent for showcasing yourself as an elegant and sophisticated bride. Looks great with a low bun, strapless dresses with a sweetheart neckline and lace details. Also looks stunning on bridesmaids with blush or mint colored dresses.

Signature Hoop ($120). Nine pendant colors with either silver or gold wire means you are sure to find a color combo complimentary to your wedding colors, your skin tone, the color of your eyes, your hair, even, your underwear (I know this is a thing), but especially your dress.

Signature Bracelet ($198). Perfect for a simple something on the hand, that leans towards being a statement piece without distracting from you and your face. If red or gold is your accent color, this piece is definitely going to carry you through the day. But my personal favorite? Combining (that means two bracelets) the Silk and Vintage Rose. Someone, please, buy those for me!

Tamara Lariat ($78). A great addition to a simple dress with minimal frizzles and frazzles OR a deep plunging neckline. Inspired by Tamara of Champagne + Macaroons, the ring detail reminds me of how your wedding is for eternity, an unbroken circle to symbolize your commitment. And how I love details!

I’d love to see how you highlighted your wedding dress with Goldfine Jewelry! Use #goldfinejewelry so we can see your look!
