Equality + Community + Love

That is the theme of our June Partnerships

Our One Love bracelets represent equality for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, or gender. Appetite For Change encompasses these same values, which is why we decided to partner with them and donate 50% of the proceeds from each bracelet to help nourish and rebuild North Minneapolis.

Appetite For Change offers teens and adults the space and resources to become agents of change in North Minneapolis.  

"We believe food is the key ingredient to nourishing wellbeing. Systemic barriers make accessing fresh food in North Minneapolis a challenge for many. Through youth and workforce development programs, social enterprises, and policy initiatives, we build community capacity to engage with the food system in a fresh and sustainable way."

Part of AFC's mission is to expand economic growth, racial equality, and opportunities for inner-city youth and young adults in North Minneapolis.

The global pandemic and recent Minneapolis uprising have left many of our neighbors jobless, homeless, and foodless. Appetite For Change is actively collaborating with community partners to distribute nourishing meals to families in need in North Minneapolis, preparing over 50,000 meals since April.
